How much does it cost to rent a crane?
In most cases the crane is rented by the hour or month. Depending on the size of the crane, the cost will vary between $100 per hour to $275 per hour. Give us a call so we can figure out exactly what you need for your job and ensure you aren’t overpaying.
What is your cancellation policy?
We prefer at least 24 hours if possible, but there are no cancellation penalties due to Mother Nature.
What information will you need from me before a job?
The size of the crane and what is being lifted so we can determine what type of rigging you will need, and the location.
How far will you travel for a job?
We are based in Lafayette, Louisiana and will travel anywhere within the United States.
How much lead time is required?
Generally there is no lead time required, but at times we get extremely busy and may not have the proper crane for your needs. It’s best to call as soon as possible to reserve your equipment.
Do you accept credit cards?
We accept all major Credit Cards.

Are your operators certified?
Yes, all of our operators are NCCCO certified.
Is CDH Rentals, LLC insured?
Yes. In addition to standard liability insurance we also have lift insurance which covers whatever we are lifting.
How often are your trucks / cranes inspected?
We do daily inspections as well as JSA’s on the job. Cranes are inspected by a third-party OSHA inspection yearly.

How do I know which crane I will need for my job?
If you are unsure which crane you will need, just give us a call and we will visit your job site to determine the most safe and cost-effective way to get the job done.
What type of rigging comes with the machines I’m renting?
Depending on the size of the crane, we generally have your most commonly used rigging available on the crane. Specialized rigging is available upon request like spreader bars, man baskets, etc.
